Duration 10 hours + About Enjoy a day in "Charco La Barrigona". A beautiful swimming area along the Mameyes River in Río Grande, located in the outskirts of the " El Yunque National Forest." After a delicious lunch break of local Puerto Rican cuisine you can enjoy the beautiful Luquillo Beach where the view will be more than worth the trip. Then get ready for a night Kayaking adventure to the Island’s amazing Bioluminescent “Laguna Grande” where you will experience the rare phenomenon of glowing, sparkling water, existing in only 4 other places on earth! One of the most spectacular sights on a night trip in Caribbean waters is to witness hundreds of tiny star-like bioluminescent plankton scintillating like a starry sky as you move through the dark water. Wave your paddle through the water in front of you, and be mesmerized by the tiny glowing specs of plankton or Dinoflagellates which are tiny unicellular marine plankton also known as fire plants. What to Know Kayak Tour Distance: 1 mile each way Ages: All family members welcome / physically fit to handle a kayak with paddles (children 6 yrs+) Max Weight: 425 for double kayaks and 250 for singles
Cancellations
Customers WILL NOT receive a refund for cancellation or changes to their purchase within 48 hours of the tour/activity. - Travel delays, missed flights or taxis, etc doesn’t entitle the customer to a refund. Groups of 8 must cancel *14 DAYS PRIOR ** to their tour date. If groups of this size needs to cancel after this time refunds will not be given. This is due to our limited spaces. If you call or decide on the same day or 48hrs within your reservation date to reschedule, there will be an incur of $20 per person for a last minute reschedule fee. THIS CAN APPLY ONLY IF DONE AT LEAST 4 HOURS BEFORE TOUR- Tours may be subject to time changes if a minimum amount of guests have not signed up. In these cases we will combine tour times in order to take out the tour. Glow Status- Please note that the goow is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted. Refunds will NOT be issued for low or no glow! Weather Cancellations - If we are forced to cancel the adventure due to the weather conditions guest will receive a full refund. We will contact you to inform you about the cancellation. If we have not cancelled the tour and you decide not to attend you will not be refunded.
