Check-in details Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time at Cabezas de San Juan – Ensenada Yegua in Fajardo. Allow enough time to park and walk to the rental location before check-in. Please have your booking confirmation and a valid photo ID ready. Our team will review your reserved equipment, confirm quantities, and provide basic use and safety instructions before release. Late arrival does not extend the rental period. Your weekly rental begins on the scheduled pickup date and all equipment must be returned by the designated return time on the final rental day. Special requirements A valid photo ID is required at pickup. The primary renter must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all equipment during the rental period. Children and minors must be supervised by a participating adult when using kayaks, paddleboards, chairs, or umbrellas. Guests using kayaks or paddleboards must be able to follow basic safety instructions and wear the provided PFD while on the water. Guests are responsible for securing, storing, and caring for all rented equipment throughout the weekly rental period. All equipment must be returned by the designated return time on the final rental day. Kayaks, paddleboards, and umbrellas should not be used when weather, wind, or marine conditions make use unsafe. Guests planning to transport equipment must have a vehicle and securing method suitable for the equipment being rented. Restrictions This rental may not be suitable for everyone. Guests using kayaks or paddleboards should be able to enter and exit the equipment safely, maintain basic balance, and follow safety instructions. Pregnant guests, individuals with significant mobility limitations, recent injuries, or medical conditions that may affect balance, strength, or safe participation should consult with their healthcare provider before using watercraft. Cancellations
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled rental start time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours, as well as late arrivals and no-shows, are non-refundable. Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees. Weekly rentals are subject to weather, wind, marine, equipment availability, and safe operating conditions. If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe before the rental begins and cannot provide the reserved equipment, you may be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy. Once the weekly rental has begun, temporary changes in weather, wind, marine conditions, beach conditions, or visibility during the rental period do not automatically qualify for a refund or extension. Certain equipment may need to remain unused until conditions improve. Late pickup does not extend the rental period. All rented equipment must be returned by the designated return time on the final rental day. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unreturned equipment is handled separately from the cancellation policy and may result in additional charges. Please do not assume your rental is canceled based on a forecast or changing conditions unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
