To maximize your time on the waves, we offer flexible 2-hour intervals while accommodating half-day rentals seamlessly. Here’s our preferred schedule: 2-Hour Rental Intervals 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Half-Day Rental Options Morning Half-Day: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Afternoon Half-Day: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability during your preferred time slot. Check-in details Convenient Beach-Side Check-In: No need to visit a shop or carry gear. We’ll bring your surfboard or bodyboard directly to you at the beach. Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before your rental time to ensure a smooth check-in process and maximize your time on the water. On-Site Supervision: During your session, our team will stay nearby to supervise for safety and provide basic guidance if needed. Location: Rentals are provided at La Pared Beach in Luquillo. Look for our team near the designated surf area. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or specific requests before your session! What to bring To make the most of your surf session, we recommend bringing the following items: Swimwear: Wear a comfortable swimsuit that allows for easy movement in the water. Towel: For drying off after your session. Sun Protection: Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Water and Snacks: Stay hydrated and energized during your time at the beach. Rash Guard or Surf Shirt: Optional but highly recommended for extra sun protection and comfort while surfing. (Surf shirts are also available for purchase on-site.) Personal Gear: Feel free to bring wetsuits, surf booties, or any additional accessories if you prefer. We provide the surfboard or bodyboard, a leash, and supervision to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time on the water! Special requirements Parental Supervision: Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the beach for the entire duration of the rental. Waiver for Minors: Parents or guardians are required to sign a waiver before the rental begins. Safety Education: Parents must ensure that minors understand the safety rules and potential dangers of surfing, including rip currents and wave conditions. These requirements are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know before your session. Restrictions For safety reasons, this activity may not be suitable for individuals with the following conditions: Pregnancy: Surfing is not recommended for pregnant women due to the physical demands and potential risks involved in the water. Seizures: If you have a history of seizures, it’s important to consult with a healthcare provider before participating in any water activity. Heart Conditions: Individuals with heart conditions should seek medical advice before engaging in surfing, as the physical exertion and water environment can be strenuous. Recent Back Surgeries: Surfing requires significant body movement and balance, which may not be suitable for those who have had recent back surgeries. Please consult your doctor before participating. If you have any health concerns, please consult with a healthcare professional before booking, and feel free to contact us for more information. Your safety is our top priority! Health & Safety Hiring any equipment will require a form of photo ID. We will accept either: a driving license or a passport along with a bank card or images of a bank card. This will be kept during the hire period. All equipment hired is at your own risk. We ask that if you hire our equipment you look after it like it's your own. We also ask that you return the equipment as you took it away, sand-free and in one piece. The Hirer accept/s that the goods and equipment are in good condition at the commencement of the period of hire and must be returned to the owner at the address specified above at the expiration of the period of hire in the same condition. That the hirers will be responsible for all loss of and damage to the goods and equipment while to let to him/her and will pay the owner the cost of repairs including the cost of all materials and labor. If the goods and equipment are not returned to the owner or are returned so damaged to be incapable of an economic repair then the hirer will pay the full value of any kind for any defects in the goods and the equipment specified below with any monetary deposit received by the owner being retained by the owner as part payment thereof. Usage of the hire equipment is entirely at the risk of the hirer's. No refunds for inclement weather or beach closures Schedule of repairs: Small ding $10-15, Medium ding $15-25, Large ding $25-40 Snapped fin $20, Snapped fin and plugs $30. Snapped board - lost board, full replacement. Disclaimers Weather and Ocean Conditions: Surfing conditions can change rapidly due to weather, tides, and surf conditions. We cannot guarantee perfect waves, and we reserve the right to cancel or adjust sessions based on safety concerns or unforeseen changes in the environment. Injury Risk: Surfing involves inherent risks, including the possibility of falls, collisions, or other accidents. Participants accept responsibility for their actions and must follow safety guidelines to minimize risks. Lost or Damaged Equipment: While we provide equipment in good condition, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gear during your rental. Unforeseen Circumstances: We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or other issues beyond our control, including natural events (e.g., storms, tides) or personal emergencies that may impact your session. Please ensure you understand the risks involved and take appropriate precautions to enjoy your surfing experience safely!
Cancellations
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
