About this experience
Enjoy the Last of the Sunset & Swim the Bioluminescent Bay! Join us for our Sunset Bio Bay Charter, a memorable 2-hour tour. During the first hour, we’ll cruise along the picturesque bay of La Parguera, taking in the breathtaking sunset. We’ll then head to one of the nearby sandbars, such as Cayo Mata La Gata or Cayo Caracoles, to swim and enjoy the last rays of the sun. As night falls, we’ll make our way to the Bioluminescent Bay, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim in its glowing waters. It’s not just a tour; it’s an experience you'll cherish forever. Come aboard on this unforgettable adventure!

Check-in Come inside our shop/dock called Carmens Shell Shop. You can use the Hook'd on Adventure Parguera Google Pin to find our location easily. (Please arrive 15 minutes before the tours start time) Meet the Captain Meet your captain, who will provide a brief overview of the tour and safety guidelines. Cruise to the Sandbar Set sail towards the sandbar while enjoying the beautiful sunset views. Capture stunning photographs as the sky transforms. Swim at Sunset Enjoy the last moments of daylight as the sun dips below the horizon. Cruise to the Bioluminescent Bay Depart from the sandbar and cruise towards the Bioluminescent Bay. Relax and take in the evening atmosphere. Swim in the Bioluminescent Bay Arrive at the Bioluminescent Bay. Experience the magic of the glowing waters as you swim and explore this natural wonder. Conclusion of Tour After your swim, the tour concludes. Return to the meeting point, filled with unforgettable memories!

Check-in details Please check-in inside the shop/dock 15 minutes before the tours start time. All waivers must be signed for your party, you can speed up the process online. On your confirmation email you will have the link to sign the before hand. Parking: Depending on the day of the week, be sure to allow enough time for parking. There is a small free Public Parking Lot, this fills up fast. If not you can park by the street, make sure not to park on a yellow line, or block any entrances. What to bring Bathing suit Towel Light sweater (It may be chilly on the way back) Snorkeling Gear (Optional) Special requirements Children 12 and under are required to use a life vest whenever the boat is moving, due to US Coast Guard Regulations. Disclaimers Separate tickets don't guarantee your party will be on the same boat. If your group is separated, please notify us so during the experience the captains can tie both boats together. Large Groups (More than 6 passengers) will be divided into separate boats. We will tie both boats together so your group isn't separated. Please note that if you arrive late, the tour will start right at the designated time. Depending on the situation and how late is your arrival you may miss the opportunity to participate the sunset portion of your tour. We recommend arriving a little early to ensure you don’t miss out on this experience!
FAQs
Can infants enjoy this experience? Yes they can, but if you are planning on swimming. An adult is required to watch over the infant on the boat. Do you have to swim to enjoy the bioluminescence? Swimming is optional, you can enjoy the tour from on top of the boat. We still recommend bringing your swim suit just in case you want jump in. The best experience is definitely swimming. Can I bring my dog on the boat? We are pet friendly, just be mindful of other guest. They are also required to wear a life vest. My partner is pregnant, can she still enjoy the tour? Yes they can, we still recommend mentioning it to the captain so they can make the boat ride as smooth as possible. Will I get seasick? La Parguera is not know for high seas, but there can be boat wakes and some small chop. If you are prone to seasickness, we may suggest to take some medication. Will my weight/age be a problem? You should be able to get in and off the boat. There can be some weight limitations on our ladders, please advise our staff before hand so we can assess the appropriate boats required for your party.

Cancellation Policy Cancellation Process: Phone-Only Cancellation: All cancellations must be made through phone. This ensures a direct and efficient handling of your request. Official Confirmation via Email: Cancellations are not official until you receive an email confirmation from us. This email serves as your proof of cancellation and, if applicable, your refund processing. Cancellation Terms: Full Refund with Advance Notice: For a full refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. This gives us sufficient time to adjust our planning and offer the slot to other interested participants. Cancellations Due to Extreme Weather: Our tours will run rain or shine. However, if there are extreme weather conditions that pose a safety risk (such as severe storms or hurricanes), we will cancel the tour. In such cases, a full refund will be provided. The safety and comfort of our guests and staff are our top priorities. How to Cancel: To initiate a cancellation, please call our cancellation line at (787) 673-6386. Our team is available from 8:30AM to 5:30PM (AST) to assist you. After your call, wait for the official email confirmation to ensure your cancellation has been processed. Additional Information: We understand plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while maintaining fair policies for all our guests and our operations.
