Check-In & Safety Briefing – Fajardo Meet your captain and crew, complete check-in, and receive a brief safety orientation before boarding Manta. Sunset Cruise Toward Palomino Depart Fajardo as daylight fades and enjoy the transition from sunset to evening on Puerto Rico’s east coast. Night Snorkeling Experience Enter the water with your guide, premium snorkeling gear, and an underwater light to explore the reef after dark and look for nocturnal marine life. Relax & Recharge After snorkeling, unwind aboard the boat with charcuterie, light snacks, bottled water, juices, and soft drinks. Evening Cruise Back to Fajardo Finish the experience with a relaxing nighttime ride back to the marina. Snorkeling locations, activities, and access to Palomino are subject to weather, sea conditions, visibility, safety considerations, and the captain’s discretion. Check-in details Please arrive at Renaissance Villa Marina in Fajardo 5–10 minutes before your scheduled departure for check-in, boarding, equipment preparation, and the required safety briefing. At the marina entrance, tell security you are visiting Manta. Please have your booking confirmation and a valid photo ID ready. Because this is a nighttime marine activity, arriving on time is especially important so the safety briefing and snorkeling equipment setup can be completed before departure. Charters depart on schedule. Late arrivals may reduce your experience time or result in a missed departure, and the scheduled return time cannot be extended. This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with recent surgery, serious back or neck conditions, epilepsy, severe dizziness, significant mobility limitations, or medical conditions that may be aggravated by boat movement or nighttime snorkeling. Personal flotation devices, snorkeling equipment, underwater lights, first-aid supplies, and required marine safety equipment are provided. The captain or guide may require the use of a flotation device or restrict a guest from entering or remaining in the water whenever necessary for safety. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian. Alcohol consumption must remain responsible. The captain and guide continuously evaluate visibility Guests may bring their own alcoholic beverages when permitted, but glass containers are not allowed onboard. Alcohol should be consumed responsibly. Can I rent a GoPro? Yes. A GoPro action camera rental is available as an optional add-on for $40 per booking, subject to availability. Can I buy a new snorkel to keep? Yes. A brand-new snorkel is available as an optional add-on and is yours to keep after the experience.

Cancellations

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, as well as late arrivals and no-shows, are non-refundable. Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability and any applicable change fees. Night snorkeling is weather- and sea-condition dependent. If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that conditions are unsafe to operate, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund in accordance with our weather policy. Changes to the route, snorkeling location, timing, underwater visibility, or marine-life activity due to weather, sea conditions, current, visibility, or safety are not considered operator cancellations and do not qualify for a refund. This is not a bioluminescent bay tour. Marine-life sightings and bioluminescence are not guaranteed and are not grounds for a refund. Please do not assume your experience is canceled based on rain, clouds, wind, or a weather forecast unless Pirate Snorkeling Shack contacts you directly.
