Check-in details Please arrive at Renaissance Villa Marina in Fajardo 5–10 minutes before your scheduled departure for check-in, boarding, and the required safety briefing. At the marina entrance, tell security you are visiting Manta. Please have your booking confirmation and a valid photo ID ready. Charters depart on schedule. Late arrivals may reduce your time on the water or result in a missed departure, and the scheduled return time cannot be extended. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian. All participants must complete the required liability waiver before departure. Guests must be able to safely board and exit the vessel. Please notify us in advance of any medical condition, recent surgery, mobility limitation, allergy, or other concern that may affect safe participation. The captain may restrict participation if a guest’s condition or behavior could create a safety risk. Restrictions Not recommended for pregnant guests. Not recommended for guests with recent surgeries, serious back or neck conditions, or medical conditions that may be aggravated by boat movement. Guests with limited mobility must be able to safely board and exit the vessel with minimal assistance. There are no specific height restrictions. Personal flotation devices and required marine safety equipment are provided. The captain may require the use of a flotation device or restrict participation in water activities when necessary for safety. The captain has final authority regarding all safety-related decisions. Alcohol consumption must remain responsible. A maximum of 2 guests can participate in this experience. Do we need snorkeling experience? No. Beginners are welcome. Your crew can provide basic guidance and help you become comfortable with the equipment and water Do we have to snorkel? No. Snorkeling is optional. You can also swim, float, relax, enjoy the beach, take photos, or simply spend time together on the boat. Is snorkeling equipment included? Yes. Masks, snorkels, fins, and personal flotation devices are included. Are food and drinks included? Light snacks, bottled water, juices, and soft drinks are included. Can we bring alcohol? Yes. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages in cans or plastic containers. Glass is not permitted onboard. Can children participate? If Pirate Snorkeling Shack determines that the experience cannot operate safely, the reservation may be rescheduled or refunded according to our weather policy. Can we customize the experience? Because the boat is reserved exclusively for two, the experience can be adjusted around your preferences whenever weather, sea conditions, and safety allow. Is marine life guaranteed? No. Turtles, rays, fish, and other marine wildlife live in a natural environment, so specific sightings cannot be guaranteed. Can we bring a pet? Please contact us before booking or departure if you plan to bring a pet so we can confirm whether appropriate arrangements can be made. What happens if we arrive late? The experience departs on schedule. Late arrival may reduce your time on the water or result in a missed departure. The scheduled return time cannot be extended.

Cancellations

By booking with Pirate Snorkeling Shack, you agree to the following cancellation and rescheduling terms. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, reservations booked within 48 hours of the activity, late arrivals, and no-shows are non-refundable. Because this is a private experience reserved exclusively for two guests, your reservation holds the boat specifically for your booking. Rescheduling Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before departure and are subject to availability and applicable change fees. We will do our best to accommodate a new date, but changes cannot be guaranteed. Late Arrivals Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled departure. The experience departs on schedule. Late arrival may reduce your time on the water or result in a missed departure. The scheduled return time cannot be extended, and no refund or credit is provided for time lost due to late arrival. Weather & Marine Conditions Pirate Snorkeling Shack makes the final determination regarding weather and marine conditions. If we determine that conditions are unsafe and cancel the experience, you may be offered the option to: • Reschedule for another available date • Apply your payment toward another available experience • Receive a full refund Please do not assume your trip is canceled because of rain, clouds, wind, or a weather forecast. Palomino & Itinerary Changes Access to Palomino, snorkeling locations, and activities may be modified because of weather, sea conditions, or safety considerations. A change in snorkeling location, activity, or itinerary made for safety reasons does not constitute a cancellation and is not grounds for a refund.
