Highlights

The Piñones State Park makes up a third of the remaining protected mangrove forests in Puerto Rico. The park is located on the coastal plains in northern Loíza. It represents a natural habitat for a great diversity of marine and land life, and through its sidewalks, recreational areas, and spiritual relaxation, this forest offers a great variety of options of enjoyment. Its green infrastructure also includes beaches, bays, corals, meadows of marine herbs, salt mines, boulders, a bioluminescent bay, and dunes.

Special requirements Children under 14 may join the tour, but clients must call to confirm before booking. Restrictions Guests with physical conditions, pregnant women, or those who have epilepsy, back problems, heart conditions, or dizziness are not allowed to participate.
