About this experience
This is a Customized Tour: Includes Pier pick-up, city and rainforest combo tour, with lunch stop and Art District, and finishing with pier drop-off. First Stop: San Juan National Historic Site - 1 hour 30 minutes This is the fort that overlooks and guards the entrance to the Bay of San Juan from maritime invasions. It's a 16th Century six-story construction influenced by the Italian Renaissance, where humanism and individualism were paramount. Second stop: Lunch - 30 minutes Visit an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant to enjoy lunch. You will learn of our food and eat as a local. Non dairy, vegetarian options will be arranged. At your expense, but pay as a local. (No kick back involved.) Third Stop: El Yunque Rainforest Hiking to Waterfall - 2 hours On visiting Puerto Rico, the component rainforest should not be overlooked. Visiting our waterfalls, rivers, and forests is an event in and of itself. Hike a half a mile to lesser know waterfall. Swim and Cliff Jump is you can muster the courage. Life-jackets provided. Guidelines for the Rainforest Terrain: Please follow your Certified Tour Guide instructions. No food or beverage consumption allowed inside the vehicle. Please try your best to be ready at your assigned time. Wearing mask is optional now. Hand sanitization is available upon request. Please have a breakfast before pick-up (we will not have lunch until 1:30pm - 2:00pm). Wear closed shoes, tennis, or boots to this hike (no flip-flops or Crocks or water shoes). Make sure you wear a bathing suit or swimming trunks below your clothes. We swim and climb stones on the river in SOCKS, they afford BETTER grip than shoes or going barefoot. Bring a towel. Have cash on hand. It is your Plan B in case systems are down at the time to pay for food. Your shoes may get muddy, but you can bring additional SOCKS and shoes (flip-flops or sliders), to ensure your feet do not prune after hiking. You can use the dry shoes while eating lunch and during the ride back. Forth Stop: Santurce Es Ley - 30 minutes This festival is dedicated to celebrating and promoting urban art, street art, and community engagement. It showcases artists talents and transforms public spaces into vibrant, artistic expressions. We will have time to park and walk about taking selfies and pictures of various expressions of street art.
Cancellations
For cancellations, you will have up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time in order to receive the full deposit back. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows and last-minute cancellations will be charged the full price. Seeing Puerto Rico and it's tour guides operators are not responsible for cancellations due to weather, traffic delays, or other elements outside of the Tour Guides Operators control that may affect the tour, the excursion, or the adventure.
