As you paddle, you'll take in the spectacular view of the San Juan coastline, and as the sun sets, a stunning landscape will unfold before you. Throughout the journey, our expert guide will share the fascinating history of Condado. Originally a quiet residential area, Condado began to develop in the early 20th century as a luxury tourist destination, thanks to its proximity to the beach and natural surroundings. Today, Condado is one of the most vibrant areas of San Juan, famous for its European-style architecture, upscale hotels, and modern facilities. You’ll also learn about the Puente Los Hermanos, the Condado Lagoon, and its ecosystem, which is home to manatees and a rich variety of mangroves. Additionally, you’ll discover the historic Fort San Gerónimo, a military fortress built in the 18th century as part of the defense system of San Juan. This fort, located near the coast, was crucial in protecting the city from potential invasions during the colonial era. Today, it is a historical and cultural site that adds an extra layer of history to your adventure. As night falls, the experience becomes even more magical with the sunset reflecting on the water. No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled experience are not eligible for a refund. Late Arrivals: The experience begins at the scheduled time. Guests who arrive too late to participate will not be eligible for a refund. Weather & Safety: We Take You continuously monitors weather and water conditions. If We Take You cancels the experience due to unsafe weather or safety concerns, guests may reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund.
