About this experience
🌸 Bloom & Grow Season at Hacienda La Tradición A Seasonal Coffee Tour in the Heart of Utuado, Puerto Rico Join us on an inspiring and refreshing walk through our scenic coffee farm, where breathtaking views of the majestic Caniaco Fault and lush green mountains welcome you at every turn. During the Bloom & Grow season, you’ll witness the natural evolution of coffee trees — from blooming flowers to ripening cherries — as you deepen your understanding of Puerto Rican coffee culture. 🌼 January – March: The Blooming Season As you stroll through Hacienda La Tradición, the landscape transforms into a living canvas. Coffee trees are adorned with delicate white blossoms, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding greenery. The air is alive with the sweet, floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle, inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and savor the moment. This is a serene, sensory-rich experience — a chance to connect with nature and discover the essence of our coffee during one of the most magical times of year. 🌸 Please Note: Blooming is a natural event influenced by climate and weather patterns. While January–March is typically blooming season, flowers may not be present during your visit. 🍒 April – August: Growth and Ripening During this vibrant time of year, coffee trees begin producing their fruit — evolving from green and yellow cherries to deep red hues, ready for the harvest season. This slow transformation is a testament to nature’s patience and the deep-rooted tradition of coffee in Utuado. You'll witness the care and attention that goes into every step, from tree to cherry — each one holding the potential for an exceptional cup. ☕ Coffee Processing & Tasting Your tour also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the coffee journey — from harvesting to drying, processing, and roasting. You’ll gain insight into our artisanal methods and the love we pour into every bean. To end your tour, enjoy a freshly brewed cup of our specialty medium roast coffee, crafted to highlight the unique flavors imparted by the surrounding fruit trees and mountain air. You'll also have the opportunity to: • 🛍️ Purchase whole bean coffee and meaningful keepsakes to relive the experience or share it with friends and family • 🌄 Soak in the beauty of the farm with free time to explore the trails and scenery at your own pace ✨ Come discover the heart and flavor of Puerto Rico — one bloom, one bean, one sip at a time.
