Itinerary
We pick you up in San Juan at 8:00 AM and head toward Arecibo for our 10:00 AM Cueva Ventana tour. Since we leave early, the group can decide whether to stop for breakfast along the way or, if everyone has already eaten, enjoy a scenic drive along a beautiful coastal road with spectacular ocean views before reaching the cave. At Cueva Ventana, our approximately 90-minute Puerto Rico cave tour takes you underground to discover the fascinating geological formation of the cave while learning about the local flora and fauna. The experience culminates at the famous viewpoint that gives Cueva Ventana its name, offering an unforgettable panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. After exploring the cave, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food and traditional cuisine before continuing our journey. Our final stop is a historic Puerto Rican rum destination for a rum tour beginning at 2:45 PM. Enjoy a welcome drink while learning about the family’s history and exploring the facilities, including the barrel-aging area and bottling process. Discover how Puerto Rican rum is crafted and why it remains such an important part of the island’s culture and heritage. We expect to return to San Juan at approximately 4:00 PM.
