About this experience
Ash scattering at sea in Puerto Rico, done privately and without rushing. Your family boards the Sea Ray 270 at Cangrejos Yacht Club, 10 minutes from Isla Verde and SJU airport, and Captain José takes you beyond 3 nautical miles from the San Juan coast, where federal rules allow cremated remains to be released. What we do We run the whole burial at sea for you: the private boat, the navigation offshore, the biodegradable urn and flowers, the ceremony at your pace, the EPA report and a certificate with the GPS coordinates of the place. How it works Choose a morning and book online, or message us first on WhatsApp at (787) 949-3542. The captain checks the marine forecast and confirms your departure with you the day before. On the day, your family boards at the dock. Up to 6 people, your boat only. We ride out past 3 nautical miles and stop the engines for the ceremony: words, music, flowers and the release of the ashes. We circle the spot, record the coordinates and return to the dock. The EPA report is filed within 30 days. Wind and waves Sea conditions on the north coast of Puerto Rico change from day to day. Mornings are usually the calmest, which is why we only sail this service in the morning. If wind or waves make the trip uncomfortable or unsafe, the captain will contact you to move it to a better morning at no cost, or refund you in full. If your dates are fixed, contact us before you book so we can help you pick the best day. Choose your service Sea of Serenity: $650. The private memorial charter with biodegradable urn, flowers and certificate. Dignified Tribute: $950. Adds a live musician on board. Legacy Package: $1,250. Our most complete ceremony. All prices are per boat, not per person, with fuel and captain included.
